Board Meeting Minutes

February 17, 2007

Called to order 9:00 A.M. by Dick Kapash.

Attendees:  

Board members: Dick Kapash, Dennis Furby (by phone due to illness), Bob Bell, and David Shaw

Security: Dale Holmes

Guests: Candy McCorkell, Dave Oxford and Fernarda Aguiar

Review and Approve Minutes:

Minutes for 12/16/06 and 1/20/07 approved by board

Safety Report:  

Dale Holmes.

Parking New stickers will be sent out

Towing Regulations have been developed by Dale and Candy McCorkell

Members Forum:  

            Uncovered lights reported on Kona Lane

Treasurer's Report:

Bob Bell reviewed report and asked board to consider a new auditor

Wells Fargo accounts; discussion of changing accounts and or multiple accounts.

Collection Activities:

Dennis Furby reported that the judge dismissed our claim against a Unit One non-member for reimbursement of road maintenance costs, without prejudice.  The board approved a letter to be sent to the Unit One defendant.

Design Review:  

Chuck Chamberlain was not available for Design Review Committee activities.

Dick reviewed siding and new material issues.

Other business:

          Election of Board members: discussed the ballot format which Dennis will have EBMC mail to all members.

Action items:

          Roster for members David in progress

          High speed Internet Bob in progress

          Need to secure representative from Design Review Committee to attend meeting.

Next Meeting:  

9:00 A.M. Saturday, March 17, 2007 in the OMA office.

Executive Session:    None required  

There being no further business, Dick Kapash adjourned the February board meeting at 10:15 AM.
