STATEMENT</I></div> <div> <B>Oceana Marin Association Board of Directors</B></div> <div> The primary function of the Board of Directors is to conduct the business matters of the Association with due diligence in accordance with the governing CC&R's and By Laws.  In order to accomplish these tasks in an effective and efficient manner, the Board utilizes the services of others, both OMA members on a volunteer basis and paid consultants or contractors where appropriate, to assist with specialized functions such as legal, accounting, design review and security tasks.</div> <bR> <div> Further, the Board strives to accomplish our tasks with a minimum of intrusion into the private lives of individual owners and residents so that we all may enjoy a simpler and more peaceful lifestyle, which is why most of us choose to live in Oceana Marin.</div> <bR> <div> While we recognize that the boundary between the Association and individual members can be a fine line at times, the goal of the OMA Board
